Although the preparation is quick and easy, the baking process in the oven takes some time; however, this allows you to be free to do other tasks while they are in the oven. Recipes from my own personal top cookbooks are these. I wish for you to have enjoyment from them. Offer boiled potatoes and a green salad to them.

A variety of delicious dishes can be made using butter and cheese.

Flake the haddock with a fork.

Put some haddock in the bottom of an oven-safe dish.

Put a layer of cheese and then a layer of tomatoes over the fish.

Repeat the layers until all the fish has been used up.

Beat the egg and milk and pour it over the fish.

Add a pinch of pepper to season to taste.

Put some butter lumps on top of the fish.

Bake the fish in a moderate oven until the egg is set.

To be honest with you, I am not very good at cooking fish.

A simple way to prepare white fish is to combine melted butter, a packet of tomato soup, and some boiling water. Cover your fish portions with this and cook in the microwave oven until done. To determine if the fish is cooked, take a small piece in the middle and check if it is no longer transparent; if so, it is cooked. With my microwave oven's "fish" program, I have it even easier - I just put it on "fish" and the microwave takes care of the rest.

Having these three simple fish recipes in your collection, you will never again be at a loss for a fast and easy supper. I hope my family enjoys these recipes from my personal top cookbook as much as yours does.
